Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a motor yacht like ASCENTE, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price ($36,250 - $58,000), making the charter cost $181,250 to $203,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Mike Simpson - Rotational Captain
For over two decades, I’ve served as a tugboat captain throughout the waters of British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest—ranging from the rugged coastline of Alaska to the river systems of Portland, Oregon. Alongside my maritime career, I have operated a successful yacht delivery and charter business for more than 20 years. As I transition from the tugboat industry, I am excited to dedicate myself fully to my true passion: sharing the beauty of our coastline with guests seeking exceptional experiences on the water. My extensive local knowledge, gained through a lifetime at sea, allows me to curate safe, memorable, and deeply personalized journeys. For the past 15 years, I have also completed Pilot Waivers for mega yachts and commercial vessels over 500 tons, ensuring smooth and compliant navigation through some of the region’s most challenging waterways. I’m passionate about people, adventure, and the unparalleled magic of the Pacific Northwest—qualities that make this the perfect next chapter in my career. I look forward to welcoming you aboard and showcasing the extraordinary waters I’m proud to call home.
