Represented by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht MEDUSA is a 68 ft motor yacht featuring a jetski. The highlights of MEDUSA are her well-chosen interiors and fantastic layout. MEDUSA spends the season in Antarctica. She was constructed by the well-known ship builder Azimut in 2005. A comprehensive refit was fulfilled in 2019. The ingenious yacht layout features 4 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.
MEDUSA is classified as a superyacht. The key part of the boat -roomy aft deck, elegantly connects to the the heart of the yacht - the main saloon. The main saloon is a gathering space that is well-equipped to shield from the elements in comfort and enjoyment and enables a number of media entertainment options. 4 tasteful cabins are thoughtfully spread out for maximum privacy and comfort.
The motor yacht features ENGINES: 2 X 1150 HP MTU GENERATORS:2 X KOHLER 17EFOZD-16 KW KVA each engines and a generator.

Captain George Oikonomakis
Born in 1987 and with more than 6 years experience as professional Captain on motor yachts, George gained more than 30 000 nautical miles worldwide. He has an extensive experience of chartering in popular destinations, as well as less known locations. Captain George has a strong focus on providing a safe, secure and enjoyable environment for guests. He holds a Captain diploma of Merchant Shipping Academy of Greece, GMDSS General Operator and security duties certificate. He has also worked in Cargo and passenger ships throughout his career. He speaks Greek & English.
Cook Eleni Nika
Eleni is born in 1976 in Athens. She has more than a decade of professional culinary experience in restaurants and also joined the yachting industry few years ago. Eleni pays attention to details and quality and is an expert in Mediterranean cuisine. Her creations will amaze guests. She is looking forward to welcoming all his guests onboard!
Stewardess Mia Van Aswegen
Exposed to competitive surfing and South African life – saving from a young age, her love for sea made her join yachting. She is extremely hardworking and dedicated to taking care of her guests, with her gentle and friendly manner. Mia is polite and communicative, and her priority is to make her guests feel like they are at home. She has worked in various restaurants and hotels and she has attended seminars for silver service, Housekeeping, Barista, Mixology, Wine appreciation, hotel management and arrangements. She speaks fluent English and Afrikaans.
Deckhand Niforas Christos
Christos was born and raised in Greece and has been on board Medusa for more than one year while previously he worked on board MY Hakuna Matata II and MY Hakuna Matata I as deckhand. He holds a Powerboat Handling (Level 2) certificate, as well as certificate in vehicle engineering. He is very positive and detailed and keeps the yacht in perfect condition. He is a proud owner of a speedboat and he is 27 years old and single.
